Swami Maheshananda, who was at The Bihar School of Yoga for 12 years and is now a “wandering yogi”, is hosting a yoga and ayurveda retreat from February 15 to March 1, 2014, in Bangalore at the Institute of Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine (IAIM). Swami Mahesh has led retreats in locations from the Himalayas to Machu Pichu.
This retreat will feature a fusion of various yoga disciplines. It will integrate practices from the ancient and modern tantric/ yogic traditions with ayurveda. The aim is to have a holistic approach to life in its totality for a better quality of life and longevity.
- Hatha, Raja, Bhakti, Jnana, Kriya and Kundalini yoga classes.
- Traditional, ancient yoga practices from the Hatha traditions and Kashmir Tantra.
- Pranayama, Yoga Nidra, Prana Vidya, Hamsa Dhyana, meditation, and yogic cleansing and detox.
- No yoga experience necessary. All levels are welcome and accommodated.
